Doctor and Dinner

We had a good detailed appointment with the dr this afternoon (nearly 1.5hrs). Chemo starts Wednesday morning. Not sure if they will do 3 or 6 cycles depends on how it responds (cycle is 4 weeks) apparently it is in a few places other than just his groin hence need for a fair bit of chemo. Particular subgroup of Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NLPHL) is very rare but he says is slow growing and responds well to treatment. He gave us a great deal of confidence and was very pleased that I was able to stay with Dave and has given me a certificate for 3 weeks and will give me more if we need/want.

So tonight we had dinner at Dave’s favourite Canberra restaurant- Saffron which is Turkish. Not my favorite cuisine- but only fair he got to choose.
