Cover pic – tomorrow it’s going to be a (relatively) warm one – only minus 1!

Dave has the real estate agency coming tomorrow to do an annual inspection. Dave is one of the cleanest and neatest people I know.  Having said that, he is now busy cleaning and tidying the flat. Its the army influence I think, everything must be ship-shape for the inspection. Not a finger mark on the stainless steel fridge, the plastic see thru door on the clothes dryer is sparkling, the inside of the cupboards are wiped over and the horizontal balcony blinds are spotless. I have instructions to pack all my things away and hide them in the cupboard. This is a one bedroom flat – I’m not sure where I’m going to hide everything!

Dave has had a good day today. (80% rating). I dropped him to work on my way to day 2 of the conference. It was a mild minus 3 this morning, and I managed to talk him into getting a lift with me rather than riding his motorbike like he wanted to.

I picked him up from work on the way home (5pm) so he has put in a full days work. He knows that next week will be bad and he probably wont get to work at all so he is doing the work he can, while he can. I hope they appreciate him, I know his immediate team and supervisors do.

We are about to head out to Dinner at ‘Me and Mrs Jones’. It is closing for renos next week so we thought we’d have a meal there before it closed. Dave was going to cook dinner for me, but the choice of dinner out or sausages on bread … well the eating out option just won me over 😉

Its been a big day, so that’s it for now. My brain hurts from so much stimulation at the conference. I might share some leadership tips with you tomorrow, or maybe I’ll just stick with sharing recipes!
